The House of ORBSESSED

Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026 · Last updated October 13, 2026

This policy explains what information ORBSESSED (“ORBSESSED,” “the House,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit orbsessed.com or join our list, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need, we never sell your personal information, and you can leave the list at any time.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

We do not collect payment details on this site. When the House begins selling, purchases will be handled by our store provider, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

TypeProviderPurpose
EssentialORBSESSED, NetlifyDelivering the site securely; remembering, for your current visit only, how you arrived.
AnalyticsGoogle AnalyticsCounting visits and understanding which pages and sources work, in aggregate.
AnalyticsMicrosoft ClaritySession replays and heatmaps showing how the site is used, so we can improve it. Anything you type is masked.
Email and onsiteKlaviyoManaging our list, and recognising returning members so the emails we send stay relevant.

Essential cookies are always on. Analytics and Klaviyo cookies are off until you accept them in the notice shown on your first visit. Until then Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity receive only cookieless, anonymous data (Google Consent Mode and Clarity’s consent API) and Klaviyo’s onsite script does not load. Your answer is kept in your browser for one year and you can change it here at any time:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

3. How we use your information

4. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that work on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of it:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of ORBSESSED or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. Email from the House

We only email people who join and agree to receive emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; one click removes you. You can also write to rituals@orbsessed.com. After you unsubscribe we keep your address only on a suppression list, so that we never email you again.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your email address and consent record while you are on our list, and for up to three years after your last interaction with us unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and for no longer than 14 months. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

To make a request, email rituals@orbsessed.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We will confirm your request through the email address on our list and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that they act for you. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and if you remain unsatisfied you may contact your state attorney general.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

California residents. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories described in section 1: identifiers (email address, IP address), internet or other electronic network activity, and approximate geolocation, for the purposes in section 3, from you and your device. We disclosed them for business purposes only to the service providers in section 4. We have not sold or shared them, and we do not collect sensitive personal information. California’s “Shine the Light” law also lets you ask, once a year, about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we make no such disclosures.

Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland. We process your information on the basis of your consent (emails and non-essential cookies) and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. You have the rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. Our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries, using recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

ORBSESSED is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to our list is limited to the people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if the law requires.

10. Links to other sites

Links to Instagram, X and other sites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the House grows, for example when we open the store. We will change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
